With Tesla remaining the only automaker with high-capability electrical cars in regular production, their expertise is invaluable - which now means very expensive!

The producers of the famous Tesla Roadster are now offering to make house calls for customers in the US and Canada - but there's one catch. Customers must must be willing to pay $1 for every mile the Tesla technician must travel from the nearest Tesla service center. With only 4 Tesla service stations in all of North America (and none the US heartland) this could prove to be an expensive request. Did we mention you also have to pay for their return journey?!

However Tesla have also announced that they plan to have 20 sales and service locations open within the next 2 years, with stores expected to open in Chicago, Washington DC, South Florida and Toronto Canada very soon.

This all seems to be paving the way for Tesla's great success as the interest in green energy and electric cars increases on an almost monthly basis. Their next offering, the sleek Model S, is due out late next year.
