How much does Porsche cost?

Despite previous plans for Porsche to buy up to 51% holdings in Volskwagon (VW) only a few months ago, it has been recently announced that VW are now been planning to buy significant stakes in Porsche.

Originally it was stated that the German-based auto company would acquire 42% of Porsche's luxury sports car brand. However now it appears that Volkswagon will purchase almost 50% of the company for $5.8 billion.

This investment will serve to help move along the already planned merger with Porsche Automobil Holdings, for whom Volkswagon already provides over 30% of the supplies for Porsche's products.
