The new chairman of General Motors - Edward E. Whitacre - is the first to admit he knows nothing about the car industry.
If all the big business gurus are out there preaching that people are most successful when doing what they love why on earth are we letting this guy run GM?!
He thinks all business are the same and they all need the same treatment, whether its the car industry or making dairy products. Do you agree? Can someone who knows nothing about cars and has no personal interest in the industry really save this company?
How can he know what is best if he can never really put himself in the shoes of those buying the cars, if he cannot understand those that could keep the company going?
