Electric Car Refuelling Sites To Become Reality

Today Portugal's government announced their plans to construct over a thousand recharge locations for the electric cars of tomorrow.

This decision is part of a grand plan to encourage the purchasing of electric vehicles so as to reduce fuel imports and harmful emissions.

For many year Portugal has imported most of its energy supplies, but they have been making huge strides toward being an advocate of green energy. The current government has claimed that renewable energy sources already fulfill 43% of the nation's electricity requirements.

It looks like electric cars will become a familiar sight sooner than we think!
